Kia ora koutou e te whānau,
Thank you to all of you who were able to come on Sunday for our Parish/School Mass. This is the 2nd year we have celebrated the first part of the Easter story as a whole faith community. The children will join together on Wednesday afternoon at 2pm in the Church where we will celebrate the final part of our Easter pageant. You are all very welcome to attend and celebrate with us.
Congratulations to Laura Everest, Kate Nickson and Bronagh Barber who have been part of the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) programme this year and will receive the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion at the Easter Saturday Mass. This is always a very special celebration and a wonderful opportunity for the community to celebrate with them.
Just a reminder that next Tuesday, 2nd April is a holiday for all schools and learning institutions. This means there is no school on Good Friday, Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday. Generally the Easter holidays fall within the school term break however, this year they are too early to fit within that break.
Have a great (extra) long weekend, travel safely if you are going away and enjoy this time with whanau and friends.

Gospel Reflection - Sunday, 31st March, 2024
Easter Sunday
Mark 16:1-7
In this Sunday’s Gospel Mary Magdalene, Salome and Mary the Mother of Jesus go to the tomb and find the stone rolled away and Jesus' body gone. The Angel then appears to them with the good news of His resurrection; the three women are “utterly amazed”. When we reflect on this Gospel, the events of Holy Week and Easter Sunday, we hope to be filled with wonder like a child is as they discover the world around them. We often lose the sense of amazement and wonder as we grow up but the fact that Jesus was raised from the dead so that we might share eternal life with Him, is truly something to be amazed about.
Welcome to our two new students!
This week, Arielle Hibberd and Aida Joseph joined the children down in Rooms 1 and 2. Arielle is the daughter of Benjamin and Courtney and Aida is the daughter of Ricky and Melissa and sister of Evie in Room 4. We hope you're both feeling quite at home and that you and your families will love being part of our St. T's community.
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to the Leme family who welcomed a baby boy last weekend. We're sure that his big brother, Zai, is going to be the best big brother for him. Much love and many blessings on the whole family.
Pool Keys need to be returned by TODAY please

There will be a total of 7 Fridays that pizza will be available for you to order. They are:
Weeks 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10. Week 8 is Good Friday and there is no school.
To order pizza and/or ice blocks for your child, please follow ONE of the two processes below:
1. ORDERS FOR THE TERM: Pizza will be available for 7 WEEKS this term. So if ordering for the term, just multiply by 7. If you decide part way through the term, then calculate how many Fridays are left. Send an email to the team, outlining the following information for each child you are ordering for BUT in one email is fine.
Child’s Name:
Room No.:
Number of pizza slices - please specify if gluten free
Number of ice blocks
Cost: $1.50 per pizza slice and $1 per ice block
Multiply the order total by the number of Fridays.
2. WEEKLY ORDERS: These need to be sent to the same email address, with the same order details as in Option 1 and also paid into the same bank account number.
VERY IMPORTANT: The deadline for weekly orders is at 3p.m. on a Thursday. Unfortunately, no late orders can be accepted.
If you would like to pay in advance for a set number of weeks but not all
the weeks in this particular term, please feel free to email these details to
the team.
If your child is new to our school and only starts part way through the term,
simply adjust the number of weeks for the remainder of the term.
