Nut Allergies
Sometimes we have children at school who are severely allergic to peanuts and all tree nuts. Eating or touching any type of nuts or nut based products will lead to a reaction, that may be quite severe and life threatening.
We will advise classes if there is a child who falls into this category and would ask that children in this class do not bring peanuts or other nuts or products to school that have peanuts or nuts as a major or listed ingredient in them, e.g. peanut brownies, peanut butter, muesli bars that contain peanuts or peanut oil.
